Therefore, you need a magnifying glass to take a closer look at them. Stamp tongs usually have rounded tips. You should avoid handling the stamps with your bare hands as this may cause the oil from your skin to damage the stamp.

I suggest that you get a few or maybe a bundle of polythene packet. You can keep your album in this packets so that it would not get wet. It will be terrible to see your stamp collection for past years gone to waste.
