It has been concluded that tobacco was first discovered in times when taking notes or record keeping was not so much of a big thing. However, scientists have confirmed that it was in North America that the first actual use of tobacco occurred. Since North America is also a place where you can find traces of original tobacco plants, it all makes sense. Regardless of when tobacco was discovered, the important thing is that it was. Tobacco smoking and more importantly the profits from it has played an integral part in building our modern civilization.
