There are a ton of theories floating around in the guitar player community about the secret to improving your guitar playing speed. Most of these theories are based on some sort of half truth, but a good part of the time these theories are nothing more than myths and really offer no help to truly improving a person’s playing ability or their speed and style. One of the biggest myths out there about achieving faster playing speed is that you can’t play fast with thick strings and high action. Most of the proponents of this particular guitar playing myth say that in order to be able to make your fingers fly across the fretboard, your strings have to be thin and the action in the strings needs to be low.

We pray for of sunny weather to bless us at this years festivals but as we all know, particularly with the Glastonbury Festival, rain always seems to be there. So, it’s best to have some forethought if you want a special look this year, no matter the weather. Of course, there are those who will always decide that flip flops are a more suitable footwear choice than the good old welly for the festivals. But you can count on the fact that they’ll be the ones standing in that long queue to buy some emergency wellies, when their feet start to suffer in the mud and damp weather, or they end up with a broken toe because someone stepped on them.

On the other hand tournaments’ times are limited. Losses are decreased because they are governed by buy-ins and re-buys. Cash games can be tipped in the favor of those who leave the game early, but tournaments do not allow this. Tournaments allow you to enjoy your poker game without having to make it too long.
